In three days I will be embarking on an exciting adventure called Awaken DTS, a discipleship training school through YWAM (Youth With a Mission.) This adventure will first take me to Kona, HI for three months and then to a yet to be decided country for a three month outreach. As excited as I am for this journey to begin, I am filled with nerves and anticipation. I know that happens with any new adventure but this time its different.. maybe because its for six months! I know I am going to be missing my family & boy so much, but am encouraged by there unyielding love and support of this adventure the Lord laid on my heart several years ago! Also, leaving the comforts of Gresham will be hard. I feel so blessed for all of the amazing people God has worked into my life; from my East Hill church family, my little Starbucks "Coffee Family" and just the many amazing girlfriends I have. It is the goodness and blessing of theses people & my family who have given me wings to fly (hehe) into this new adventure, experiencing all that God has for me!
